Our Team: Providing Industry Leadership in Memphis Waste Management

Since our 2003 founding, our Memphis waste management services team has provided industry leadership. With a collective 100+ years of experience in providing environmental services, Excel’s staff and management team take a common-sense approach to meeting the wide ranging environmental management needs of our commercial, industrial and governmental sector clients and the communities we serve.

Excel’s consistent focus on the safe delivery of environmentally compliant, service-focused and fairly-priced solutions to the waste management needs of our clients, provides the good fortune to enjoy long-term relationships with our customers, our vendors and the communities we collectively serve.

Stephen B. Neal

President & CEO
Steve Neal is the President, Chief Executive Officer and managing member of Excel TSD of Tennessee, LLC. Steve has over 35 years of business experience in the manufacturing and environmental services sectors. In 1985, Steve founded Waste Services, Inc. and Universal Transport, Inc. and serves both as President and CEO. In 2003, Steve formed Excel TSD of Tennessee, LLC as a vehicle for the acquisition of certain assets and assumption of the operations of a predecessor company in conjunction with an agreement with the State of Tennessee and certain other parties.

Steve serves as an instructor in various environmental and safety related disciplines at the collegiate, corporate and governmental levels, including both regulatory mandated and custom training regimens.

Foster conservation, protection and improvement of our precious natural resources by providing high-quality, value-oriented environmental services to the communities we serve.
